Registered Behavior Technician

Mass Pediatric ABA is looking to hire an experienced Registered Behavior Technician for the Greater Lowell, Westford and surrounding areas.


We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to join our growing team of dedicated professionals working with families to make a difference in the lives of our clients through in-home ABA therapy and support.


Mass Pediatric ABA will provide in-depth ABA training for our Behavior Technician’s and our Board Certified Behavior Analysts will continue to support your growth and knowledge within the ABA field.


Salaries range from $24-$26 an hour and you must be 18 to apply.


Our Registered Behavior Technicians will:

  • Provide direct behavioral services to clients in their home

  • Run skill acquisition programs with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior Analysis

  • Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement individualized treatment plans

  • Write, collect and present daily session notes and data using technological programs, such as Google Docs, Microsoft Excel or behavioral software (e.g., ABPathfinder)

  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients

  • Continue with professional development and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops

  • Protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise


Our Registered Behavior Technicians have:

  • Successful completion of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s 40-hour training program (conducted by a BACB certificant) based on the Registered Behavior Technician Task List.

  • Pass the Registered Behavior Technician online examination.

  • Pass the Registered Behavior Technician Competency Assessment (administered by a BACB certificant) and any other BACB-mandated training requirements.

  • A high school and/or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (psychology, education, etc)

  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs

  • Flexibility to work weekday afternoons, evenings and weekends

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work closely with other professionals

  • Competent computer skills with various office software

  • Access to reliable transportation

  • Availability to work 10- 30 hours per week

  • Completed a CORI background check
